Autism Live

Autism Live is an interactive web-series providing support, resources, information, facts, entertainment and inspiration to parents, teachers and practitioners working with children on the Autism Spectrum. We are a subset of CARD (the Center for Autism and Related Disorders). Viewers are encouraged to participate by asking question of experts, offering suggestions for topics to be discussed and sharing progress their children have made.

Blur Productions was founded by Patrick Flaherty. He is a creative media professional with a successful record of achievement in the industry. His attention to detail and creativity have led to proven successes, along with his ability to work as an individual or collaborate with teams to meet and exceed business objectives. Book Club for Kids (podcast)

Book Club for Kids is a free 20-minute show where middle school students discuss the books they love. There's also an interview with an author and a celebrity reader. Public radio veteran Kitty Felde is host. The show began as a segment on my public radio talk show in Los Angeles, inspired by conversations I had with young readers at the LA Times Festival of Books. They were bored out of their mind, trapped in mom's carpool, forced to listen to public radio, desperate to hear young voices or conversations about things that interested them. I asked them, "What would YOU like to listen to?" The show moved from radio to cable TV and now to a podcast. We’ve won the Literacy in Media award and iTunes named listed us as a “New and Noteworthy” podcast. We even have a free newsletter for parents, teachers, and librarians with reading tips to turn reluctant readers into lifelong book lovers.
