New York International Children's Film Festival

New York International Children’s Film Festival was founded in 1997 to support the creation and dissemination of thoughtful, provocative, and intelligent film for children and teens ages 3-18. The Festival experience cultivates an appreciation for the arts, encourages active, discerning viewing, and stimulates lively discussion among peers, families, and the film community. The flagship New York City Festival has grown from one weekend of films into the largest film festival for children and teens in North America. Screened over the course of four weeks at venues throughout NYC, the Festival program – narrowed down from roughly 2,500 international submissions – is comprised of approximately 100 short and feature films, filmmaker Q&As, retrospective programs, parties, and premieres. Audience members of all ages vote on the Festival-winning films. The Festival is an Academy Award® qualifying festival, one of only four film festivals in New York State – and only two children’s film festivals in the country – to hold that honor. Winners of the Festival’s juried prizes are eligible for consideration at the annual Academy Awards®. In addition to presenting the annual event, New York International Children’s Film Festival is a multifaceted arts organization that offers year-round engagement with special event premieres, nationwide touring programs and satellite festivals, filmmaking camps, and educational programs for school groups.

Toronto Children's Chorus

Founded in 1978 by Jean Ashworth Bartle, the Toronto Children’s Chorus (TCC) is now celebrating its 46th concert season. Over the course of its history, the TCC has won numerous competitions, including the International Eisteddfod in Wales and the CBC, Kathaumixw, and Let the Peoples Sing Competitions in Canada. The choir has also performed at such revered venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, and The Dom in Salzburg. In addition to their busy annual concert seasons, our young choral ambassadors have represented Canada on thirty-one international tours and seven national tours, most recently participating in ‘Voices Together: An International Youth Choral Symposium’ in Washington, D.C., and performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City in July 2023. After 15 years of artistic direction under Elise Bradley, MNZM, the organization welcomed Artistic Director Zimfira Poloz in the fall of 2022 to lead this world-renowned chorus. ​ The Toronto Children's Chorus is a vibrant musical community that has been nurturing young voices for generations. Through exceptional choral training and performance experiences, we inspire growth, teamwork, and artistic excellence. We foster collaboration, peer leadership, self-discipline, creativity and a lifelong passion for music.

Gazelle Automations

Founded by wife-and-husband team Lindsay & Justin Lee, Gazelle Automations is an award-winning film production company specializing in puppets, model miniatures and animation. We’re currently in production on Go Togo, our new TV series for CBC Kids. From humble beginnings in the back room of a pizza shop (where pizza orders were literally passing by the camera), Gazelle Automations now sees projects through from concept and fabrication to production, VFX and finishing. Our clients and production partners include the BBC, CBC, ITV, Publicis, Shaftesbury, TVO and the University of Tokyo.
