The Kindship is a locally owned family of neighborhood retail businesses serving the Greater Tacoma area. Since 2012, our mission has been to help people celebrate life’s meaningful moments through thoughtfully curated gifts, exceptional customer service, and a genuine commitment to our community. It all began with Paper Luxe Stationery & Gifts, our boutique gift and stationery store offering unique greeting cards, gifts, jewelry, candles, puzzles, fine writing instruments, art supplies, paper goods, party essentials, creative workshops, and more. Today, Paper Luxe has locations in both Fircrest and Gig Harbor, Washington. In 2018, inspired by the growing popularity of our children’s department, we opened The Curious Bear Toy & Book Shop. With locations in Fircrest and downtown Gig Harbor, The Curious Bear brings a modern twist to the classic neighborhood toy store, featuring carefully curated toys, books, games, puzzles, and gifts for children—and the young at heart. As our baby collection continued to grow, we launched Little Luxe Baby + Kids, a standalone children’s boutique in Gig Harbor. Little Luxe specializes in thoughtfully selected baby and children’s clothing, toys, books, gifts, nursery essentials, and keepsakes for growing families and gift-givers alike. Rounding out our family of businesses is The Kindship Studio, a welcoming creative workshop and private event venue designed to bring people together through classes, celebrations, meetings, and meaningful community gatherings. Our newest venture, Kindship Cards, is an online marketplace dedicated to celebrating and supporting independent greeting card artists. Through this platform, we hope not only to champion talented makers but also to raise awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations that are meaningful to both our artists and our community.
