EdLab is a design, development, and research unit at Teachers College Columbia University. We create educational software and resources to evaluate, discover, and advance new models of learning in and out of schools. EdLab engages in a diverse range of activities to shape the future of learning and teaching. Current activities include: - Product development to create new educational software such as the Vialogues video discussion system (https://vialogues.com) - Learning and knowledge analytics to examine the operations and efficacy of learning applications - Edu-preneurship and excubation to support individuals pursuing careers in educational innovation - Consulting engagements to support educational content developers such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Rock & Roll Forever Foundation, and Pearson Education - Strategic partnerships with organizations such as HBO, The Rockefeller Foundation, The Pete Peterson Foundation, and Young Arts to create new learning opportunities - Online publishing to pioneer new strategies of distributing educational resources through publications such as the web-based Teachers College Record and the mobile phone-based New Learning Times EdLab is seeking enthusiastic team members who are passionate about education and technology. You will work alongside a team of hard-driving developers, educators, designers, video producers, researchers, and product managers. Starting with Science, Developing Experts is a complete curriculum solution for children aged 4 to 14 years. It provides a growing library of over 700 interactive, online lessons with practical investigation, handouts and assessment for learning activities fully mapped against multiple curricula including the National Curriculum. Lessons come with experts from university and industry and are narrated with unforgettable stories - told through stunning images, videos and songs. Disruptive Innovation Festival - Student Edition

The term "entrepreneurship" simply means anybody who starts a business, be it a corner shop or a high-tech start up. We use the word in a narrower sense - To offer an innovative solution to a frequently unrecognized problem. Intense competition, pressure to perform, self and parental expectations, peer pressure are common terms associated with Class XI and XII. Lack of proper guidance leads to a state of anxiety, confusion and under achievement for lakhs of students every year. We, the alumni and students from IIT felt the need to bring about a change and transform the current system of education through student-empowerment by fostering the concepts of guided self-study and self-belief. Edudigm, a mentorship model of education aims at providing students with holistic guidance, study material and all that is needed to excel in competitive exams and life. Mission: To bring about a paradigm shift in the current education system by eliminating the prevailing system of coaching by empowerment of schools and students with the required support and expertise to excel in IIT-JEE and other National Level Competitive exams. Fit For Duty

The recreational legalization of cannabis will have a huge impact on workplace safety programs and policies. Based on Bill C-45, otherwise known as the Cannabis Act, legalization is expected to take place on October 17, 2018. The Cannabis Learning Series will provide companies with a pre-packaged, turn-key, learning and engagement solution for supervisors and employees. The solution includes a full eLearning program and internal communications campaign to help roll out and integrate the legalization of cannabis into existing policies and procedures.
