Southern Habitats specializes in the propagation and use of Southeastern native seeds and plant material for habitat restoration and enhancement. They also provide habitat consulting and select the optimal plants for the specific land systems and objectives of the landowner. They have successfully completed dozens of projects on Southeastern timber land for the enhancement of habitat for wild game animals such as deer, quail, turkey, duck and dove.

Smillie's Group supply and deliver bulk organic materials such as premium composts, custom blends, mulches, manures, sawdust and hardwood chip. We have large volume tippers and walking floor trailers for deliveries. We also provide land clearing and vegetation management services including tree and stump removals, windbreak/roadside tree removals, row removals in orchards, selective limb removal, firebreaks and dam building. We are equipped to carry out grinding, chipping and mulching of vegetation waste. Smillie's Group offer a unique service of on-site composting using materials generated from land clearing and/or vegetation removal operations. With a diverse fleet of specialised plant and equipment we can assist clients in finding cost saving solutions tailored to their operation.

Australian Bedding Stewardship Council

End-of-life mattresses are a growing problem in Australia. Placed end-to-end they would stretch from Darwin to the tip of Tasmania . Many of them end up in landfill and some even on our streets. The Australian Bedding Stewardship Council (ABSC) is a not-for-profit, industry partnership established to tackle this problem. We are a product stewardship program that aims to get mattresses and bedding out of landfill and off our streets to be recycled. We work with supply chain, manufacturers, retailers and recyclers to move towards a circular economy for mattresses. The ABSC partners with key stakeholders to improve recycling outcomes for bedding products from start to end of life. Mattresses cause significant issues in landfill, taking up valuable space, breaking down slowly and burying non-renewable resources. There is also a consistent problem of illegal dumping by the community because mattresses are a bulky, heavy item that is difficult to dispose of. All this leads to unsafe landfills, unsightly kerbsides and unnecessary carbon emissions [or resource loss]. The ABSC is the answer. We’re working on solutions that make recycling easy for consumers, so they can share the responsibility for their used mattress. We work with supply chain and manufacturers to utilise inputs that work towards a circular economy for mattresses and bedding. We engage with retailers to encourage recycling at the time of purchase. Finally, we work with mattress recyclers to maximise diversion outcomes, research new recycling opportunities and create sustainable jobs.

As an executive agency for the Australian Catholic Bishop's Conference, Catholic Earthcare's mission is to promote the understanding that creation is sacred and endangered, and must be protected and preserved for present and future generations. OUR WORK: Catholic Earthcare acts as an advisory agency to the Bishops Commission for Justice, Ecology and Development on ecological matters, including the safeguarding of creation, environmental justice and ecological sustainability. At the heart of Catholic Earthcare's mandate is our education, research and advocacy work around 'ecological conversion' or 'ecological awareness'. We invite all people of good will to safeguard the integrity of creation, protect Earth's fragile ecosystems and provide a voice for communities and victims of environmental degradation, injustice and pollution. To achieve this, we facilitate formation programmes across Australia that enable individuals and organisations to reflect upon and transform their individual and collective understanding of leadership, ecology and sustainability. Neen - National Energy Efficiency Network: Catholic Earthcare recently received funding from the Australian Government's EEIG programme to launch a National Energy Efficiency Network that provides community and not-for-profit organisations with credible energy efficiency information and the opportunity to connect and collaborate in a way that will ultimately make it more resilient and sustainable into the future.

Bamford Consulting Ecologists (BCE) is a partnership specialising in fauna investigations for environmental impact assessment, and long-term ecological monitoring of fauna populations, particularly in relation to disturbance, mining and rehabilitation. Other activities include wetland rehabilitation, environmental interpretation, community education, and Science Communication. Clients include industry, federal, state and local government and non-government organisations. Our business is regularly employed to provide specialist fauna experience for larger firms of environmental and engineering consultants. We have operated on a full-time basis since 1989. The business provides an umbrella for a number of skilled sub-consultants, with experience throughout Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Northern Queensland, who form a cooperative network that enables BCE to undertake large scale and multiple projects.
