Airframe Designs and AFD-3D are based in Blackpool, providing advanced engineering design and additive manufacturing services within the NW aerospace supply chain. We are experts in the stress analysis, digital design, and certification of airframe and mechanical structures, using industry standard engineering tools. We have widespread experience in the aviation sector across different platforms, supporting airframe, tooling, and product design. Our production facility houses an array of 3-D printers, scanners and other necessary equipment to enable the production of high quality aviation parts. AFD holds accreditations in AS9100, ISO9001, ISO27001, JOSCAR and Cyber Essentials Plus.
