Our story... Bournemouth Coastal BID is a not for profit company, limited by guarantee, with a board of directors elected from members of the Coastal BID company. Coastal BID represents approximately 660 eligible businesses within the Coastal BID area. The Coastal BID runs from Westbourne to Hengistbury Head and has recently been renewed for a second term (2017-2022). Our Vision... The Coastal BID will raise the profile of the Bournemouth area as a year-round destination by highlighting the uniqueness and variety of the individual trading districts, to support your business. The vision and strategic objectives for the next BID term (2017 -22) will be delivered through four key themes: Investing, Inviting, Inspiring and Involving.

1Voice AAC

1Voice - Communicating Together is a volunteer led, small UK wide charity that supports children and adults who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). AAC is the term given to methods of communication other than verbal speech. The charity was set up in 2000 by a parent of a communication aid user and a speech and language therapist who saw the enormous benefit of bringing together AAC users and their families to network, share knowledge and experience and most importantly, to provide an opportunity to communicate.

AFR Clothing

Non-profit organisation attempting to help children in Africa through the sales of fashion apparel. Based in Miami, Florida and Bracknell, United Kingdom, AFR Clothing aims to sell Afro-centric fashion apparel to work inline with our philosophy to our customers "Look Good While Doing Good". In essence by buying fashionable clothing, you are directly helping the very poor children in Africa by providing funding to help with water shortages, lack of education and sub-standard medical facilities. Our vision is to help AFRica, one shirt at a time

DOC - Dorset Open Commece

At Dorset Open Commerce we aim to give our members the opportunity to meet and network with likeminded people who share similar goals. DOC has a primary objective of helping members grow their business through cross pollination and generation of referrals

We fund India and US based NGOs and organizations developing open source software for the public good. Our current focus is on working with NGOs in India. Some of the work that we do includes: * We run Project Tech4Dev, which enhances the technology capacity of NGOs * We fund organizations across multiple sectors, including Sanitation, Health, Education, Adolescent Girls, Sports for Children and Philanthropic Giving * We volunteer and fundraise with friends and family with an Indian NGO for three weeks every summer
