Située à 10km au sud de Lyon dans une « ville à la campagne » dynamique, notre entreprise compte 5 collaborateurs et 4 alternants qui œuvrent ensemble pour combler la gourmandise de ses clients.

Since the last century, Willem & Sara Maters have resided in the beautiful south Cambridgeshire countryside on a small holding with their own beehives, livestock and a wide range of organic fruit and vegetables. Their daughter Kate inherited this passion for healthy and natural living and decided to take this lifestyle beyond her family and children, and so, Maters and Co was founded upon these principles of raw, natural goodness of the highest quality. Company Values After seeing a steady increase of foods which are genetically modified and sprayed with all kinds of chemicals, our core values, to help produce and source raw, natural products is stronger than ever. Supporting local and national producers by visiting and purchasing from them, as well as our overseas partners, helps to keep their small ethical businesses running and aiding their local environment. Our Products We choose the highest quality of produce and pack them in the highest caliber of packaging. We use glass jars as they are infinitely recyclable, use less energy in manufacturing and contain no chemicals to leach into food. Our jars are branded with 22ct gold and organic inks which are fired on at 580 degrees celsius. Our labels and boxes are hot foiled with gold to compliment these jars for a superior finish. We feel, the produce is of the highest quality, and so the packaging should also reflect this level, quality from the inside out.

La Perla Spice Co., Inc. specializes in the production of two Mayan seasoning pastes that can be used for cooking several kinds of meat, fish, or pork. These two products are called Achiote and Bistek and can be found in brick or paste form. Both of our Achiote and Bistek products are referred to as seasoning pastes since they act more as a "flavoring" rather than adding a "hot" or "spicy" taste. Achiote is our most popular seasoning paste and is red in color. It gets its beautiful hue from its main ingredient, the Annatto Seed. It can be used to flavor pork dishes, carne asada, and even rice. Its uniqueness is that in addition to adding such fantastic flavor to food, it adds a beautiful color presentation to any dish. Bistek is our other seasoning paste flavor. It is green in color and is made from the combination of allspice, black pepper, garlic, oregano and other spices. It is mainly used to flavor beef, but also adds an amazing flavor to fish. Unlike Achiote, Bistek does not add color to your meals, just great taste! We also offer an authentic recipe book that includes recipes for both the Achiote and Bistek seasonings as well as a variety of other spices.
