Edward Gaut Violins

Edward Gaut Violins is a small family business and has been based in Bristol since 2006. Work undertaken comprises of making new fine handmade violins, violas, cellos and baroque instruments on a commission basis and are aimed at high level students and orchestral players. Edward has been making violins since the age of 16 and now with 16 years experience is creating fine works of art to be played upon. Daily routine involves the repair of customer violins, violas or cellos and their bows. Competent in a wide range of repairs from cracks, sound post cracks, patches, new bass bars, peg hole bushing, neck re- alignment, neck grafts, new bridges, new sound posts, shooting the fingerboard and retouch varnish. Regarding bows I re-hair bows which is common practice, fit new bow faces, replace button screws and eyelets. Sales comprise of the new instruments created on site, student level instruments, antique violins and bows. We run a rental programme for those unsure of starting to play one of the violin family as it can be quite an outlay initially. When renting an instrument, violin, viola or cello, they are supplied with case and bow. Visitors are required to make an appointment.

5ERIOUS is an electronic music artist based in the south of England from a small town Crawley. Versatile, 5ERIOUS listens to a wide variety of music, allowing him to play and experiment with many different styles, be it emotional, happy or pure energy, perfect for delivering his unique sound to any crowd. Well known for his love for house music, 5ERIOUS plays everything from Deep Tech/Techno/Progressive/ Bass to full blown EDM. 5ERIOUS has also maintained regular appearances on the white isle ‘Ibiza' including Pukka Up boat parties both in the UK and Ibiza. 2018 we see 5ERIOUS in Ibiza, shortly followed by further events in the UK. 2019 a new monthly podcast ‘5ERIOUSLY HOUSE', appeared on multiple platforms and has it's episodes regularly appearing in chart's including MixCloud global charts.
