Centro Oftalmológico Láser es el primer centro abierto de Chile dedicado exclusivamente a la Oftalmología e introdujo la cirugía refractiva en Noviembre de 1993. Somos los pioneros en esta cirugía contabilizando ya miles de ojos operados con éxito solo en Santiago. Actualmente contamos con sucursales a lo largo de Chile, éstas se encuentran ubicadas en: Antofagasta, La Serena, Viña del Mar, Rancagua, Concepción, Los Ángeles, Temuco, Valdivia y Santiago. Convirtiendo a Centro Oftalmológico Láser en el centro más grande del país en cirugía refractiva y otras especialidades. Siempre preocupados por la satisfacción de nuestros pacientes estamos constantemente actualizando nuestros equipos para brindarles una atención de calidad y con los más altos estándares disponibles en el mercado mundial. Lo fundamental de la cirugía refractiva con Excimer láser es la eliminación total del uso de lentes modificando sutilmente las curvaturas de la cornea corrigiendo ametropías como la miopía, hipermetropía y astigmatismos que pueda tener el paciente. En el año 2009 introdujimos el láser de Femtosegundo que por su característica permite hacer una separación del tejido de la cornea sin el uso de cuchillete mecánico dándole la posibilidad al paciente de tener una cirugía 100% láser. Cada uno de estas mejoras se han ido incorporando a los Centro Oftalmológico Láser de regiones, no existiendo una diferencia en equipamiento, instrumentales, insumos y capacitación del personal en nuestras sucursales.
