To create a center for personnel training&sustainable practices for t region (assistance,training, recycling,forest recovery,technical assistance for sustainable touristic projects) in the Rio Bonito de Lumiar Institute.
2. With the offer of adventure tourism services, we intend to develop the local production chain by training the local community to operate many activities related to tourism, like certified and qualified tourism guides to take groups of tourists to the relevant places in the region, and training of local workforce for work in touristic hosting sector.
With that, we intend to encourage the organization of the workforce of this sector in cooperatives.
Also, to spread the solid residues management through reducing the consumption, reusing materials, enacting waste sorting and other sustainable practices.
To encourage bird watching, attracting researchers to the area.
To achieve recognition and maintenance for the Permanent Protection Areas (APPs), that comprehend riversides, hilltops, high declivity areas, among others, through specific actions and information spreading.
To create a seedlings garden in order to install a structure to foster the recovery of the degraded areas – that can also serve for touristic purposes.
With the introduction of rural tourism, we intend to explore the original areas of community gardens for this activity, creating a specific touristic route for this touristic experience.
