FOLEY brings together fine line and obsessive precision in the disciplines of drawing, cut paper, painting, and photography. Michael Foley opened Foley Gallery in the fall of 2004 after several years of working with notable photography galleries including Fraenkel Gallery, Howard Greenberg Gallery, and Yancey Richardson Gallery. Founded in 2013 by art lovers, Commonplaces is a non-profit organisation composed of a team of passionate and committed volunteers who share a common goal: to help you discover emerging artists from Brussels and Belgium! Our statement The art world as it currently exists does not often give "young artists"​ a chance to make it. Today, the presentation of artistic work seems secondary in comparison with financial speculation, as most galleries do not want to exhibit new artists who are little-known or unknown because of the financial risk they represent.
