ERNE VENTURES is the investor with a special focus on the seed and start-up stage companies, demonstrating high potential Worldwide growth. A standard strategy employed by ERNE VENTURES is to exit the investment by going public, as well as sale of shares held to industry investors. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the company remains as an minority shareholder in the aftermath of gaining another investor. Once the investment is made, ERNE VENTURES provides strategic advisory to its portfolio companies, only in exceptional circumstances interfering in their day to day management.

Center for Emerging Technologies in Europe

Center for Emerging Technologies in Europe was set up in 1992 as a joint venture between Warsaw School of Economics and Unipress - Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Science. In 1994 CETE was taken over by Unipress and managed commercialization activities of Unipress, i.a. invested and managed Small Tubes Europe B.V. - a spin-off producing nano tubes. Since 2013, CETE is a privately held company providing advisory services in the area of commercialization, with focus on sell-side advisory for technology driven SMEs and new ventures seeking a capital raise.
