Econcult - Research Unit for Economics of Culture and Tourism

Econcult, a research unit since 1995, specializes in the analysis of cultural activities and collective actions to promote cultural and creative sectors. Its goal is to analyze the relationship between the cultural and creative activities and the social, economic and political dynamics of communities and territories, based on the multidisciplinary methodologies. In the last 5 years, the Econcult has participated in numerous international projects, regarding the effects of the cultural and creative activities in social innovation processes (SOSTENUTO), the role of spaces for creativity (3C4Incubators), the existence of regional development models based on cultural and creative industries (CREATIVEMED) or in identifying excellent practices in cultural policies in the urban and regional level (CULTURE FOR CITIES AND REGIONS). The Econcult is also deeply linked with national and international organizations, including the CRIT group from the University of Barcelona, ​​Futurlab at the University of Alicante, Métodos Cuantitativos de Medición de la Cultura from the University of Valencia, Relais Culture Europe (France), Fundación Roberto Cimetta (France), Creative Economy Culture and Public Policies (Brasil), Cultural Development Institute of Yunnan University (China),, the URBEGO workgroup (International), etc..

A3cubo, es una spin off del Grupo de Investigación FONTA, especializada en el sector profesional de los medios audiovisuales. Su actividad empresarial se centra investigación especializada dirigida a la capacitación profesional de los trabajadores del sector audiovisual, que permita facilitar la inserción laboral de postgraduados, tanto universitarios como profesionales. Igualmente, Acubo participa en proyectos de investigación nacionales e internacionales relacionados a la investigación de los nuevos perfiles profesionales derivados de la economía digital. Acubo participa en la redacción de informes periciales relacionados con causas abiertas en el sector de la comunicación: Comunicación Audiovisual, Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas y Periodismo.
