Since its establishment in the year 2002 Cowatec AG offers convincing solutions for design, construction, management and supervision of high-quality biogas plants. These include biogas plants that utilise renewable biomass as input material, co-fermentation plants that utilise commercial waste and also industrial biogas plants. The latter are intended to dispose of industrial biomass. So far, the company has already put into service 13 turnkey plants in the power range of 500 kW. Over 20 further projects in Germany and the rest of Europe are currently in the planning stage or under construction. Around 35 employees are the key to our success. These include experts in agricultural sciences, chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering and environmental sciences who call upon many years’ experience in interdisciplinary research and practical implementation. We obtain plant components exclusively from technologically leading suppliers or develop our own solutions to technological questions. Drawing on the knowledge and experience of our employees, biogas plants are created that achieve maximal energy yield constantly and reliably. Cowatec AG exclusively compiles a plant system which is optimised regarding conditions of the site and input materials likewise. For economic and ecological reasons it is indispensable to create a thermal use concept for each plant. As a full-service provider we carry out the complete approval process as well as accompany and manage the construction project. Commissioning, training and instruction are carried out by our subsidiary company EnergyPLUS Service GmbH. Additional services offered by EnergyPLUS Service GmbH ensure stable high-level capability and energetic efficiency of biogas plants.
