Research and Business Development Center

The mission of the Research and Business Development Center (RBDC) is to forge university students and clients to produce trusted results and professional growth through a value-added approach. The RBDC is focused on helping our clients through value-added research. Clients help university students gain experience and build their resume. Having worked with over 300 clients on over 900 projects, the RBDC offers a wide variety of projects to meet clients' individual needs by facilitating strategic decision-making. Research projects are completed by student teams overseen by RBDC staff with years of business experience and other mentors including university professors. Our cross-disciplinary teams are staffed with university students studying a range of topics like statistics and math, business, marketing, supply chain, economics, accounting, industrial and organizational psychology, and communications. Together the students provide clients documented research and analysis to help meet their individual needs. Projects are done on a tri-annual basis. The 13-week projects start in January, April, and September. Clients are charged a reasonable administrative fee for the service. The RBDC is limited in the number of projects that it can accept, so reach out now to ensure your project can be completed. Kellogg's Research Labs

Kellogg's Research Labs is committed to Nitinol related research and engineering support. The commitment is reflected in our increasing customer base in academia including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Oxford University, and other more than 50 universities. Several national laboratories have contacted KRL for Nitinol engineering support. In addition, research groups from companies including Omnitek, GE, Sunoco Plastics are contracting KRL to manage nitinol related product design and manufacturing.

Applied Ocean Sciences (AOS) is a collective of ocean consultants, powered by our passion to do the highest caliber science, push the boundaries of technology and innovation, and collaborate with academic, government, and nonprofit partners, all for the overarching goal of making the ocean safer, cleaner, and more resilient. AOS was founded in 2019 and currently has a staff of 18 across 6 cities with over half the team holding PhDs. AOS is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers specializing in ocean physics, chemistry, and biology.
