Contreras Earl Architecture (CEA) is led by Rafael Contreras and Monica Earl. We founded Contreras Earl Architecture to design original, inventive, ground-breaking buildings that contribute to the evolution of architecture and toward a better future for our communities and cities. We create buildings, spaces, masterplans and objects that are biologically informed and digitally engineered. From mid-sized commercial buildings and mixed-use developments to high-end apartments and bespoke objects, it’s not about the scale of your project, but the scale of your ambition. As architects, we are problem solvers and innovators. We challenge old conventions and contribute new ideas. We believe architecture should evolve with technology, and we embrace the latest technology to push the boundaries of architecture. Perth based Architectural practice with a broad history of educational, commercial, and specialised projects across the state of Western Australia. HISTORY DWA Architects is an awarded architectural practice which started in WA by EH Summerhayes in 1893, passed down through three generations (Summerhayes Way & Associates) to become Darryl Way & Associates in 1991 and now operates as DWA Architects. The current directors, Mark Langdon and Duncan McLagan bring together a broad knowledge in educational, civic, multi-residential, commercial and aged-care fields. The projects undertaken by the practice over the last 25 years demonstrate a variety of innovative, architectural solutions that are creative and cost effective. EXPERIENCE Our experience is broad based, from educational and justice, to commercial public/civic building projects in a range of locations throughout the state. This experience has included the full range of architectural services, and demonstrates our understanding and project management capabilities. Our educational works comprise a wide range of private and government facilities and each seek to invigorate the learning environments. We have completed a variety of work including: masterplans, feasibility studies, refurbishments, extensions, minor works, and complete new builds.
