ALWH features the testimonies and art by survivors and their allies in order to provide safe and entertaining forums through which the public can learn about healing from and preventing gender violence.

Diesel Technology Forum

The Diesel Technology Forum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of diesel engines, fuel and technology. Diesel Technology Forum members are global leaders in clean diesel technology and represent the three key elements of the modern clean-diesel system: advanced engines, vehicles and equipment, cleaner diesel fuel and emissions-control systems. Since it was founded in 2000, the Forum has emerged as a leading source of information on agriculture, economics, energy, environmental, transportation and trade issues impacting diesel technology. DTF's program is based out of metropolitan Washington, DC. International in scope, the Forum's resources include technical researchers, policy and communications specialists and communications experts. The Forum regularly participates in legislative and regulatory deliberations, technology demonstrations, and industry and media events. The Forum brings together a broad range of diesel stakeholders including diesel users, public and environmental interest groups, and government officials to encourage the exchange of information and ideas about the use of diesel technology. Elected officials, regulators, members of the media and other opinion leaders count on the Forum for data, insight and expert commentary.

Camp Jorn YMCA

Camp Jorn YMCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people both young and old while preserving nature and building positive life experiences for generations to come. We offer both resident and day camp, as well as year-round child care. We are dedicated to providing children from all walks of life with a positive, life-changing experience in a safe, caring, encouraging, natural environment. Emphasis on quality progressive programming (taking advantage of camp's unique location and strong volunteer/community involvement) and excellent older camper/leadership opportunities. Our mission is for all who engage in Camp Jorn YMCA experiences to recognize and to develp value in themselves and in the world around them. We are located in beautiful Manitowish Waters, WI. Our camp sits on 75 acres of Northern Highland forest overlooking Rest Lake.
