We're just a small Italian restaurant making food like grandma used to back in Italy-- using simple, yet seasonal ingredients, many of which come from local farms. Many describe us as a contemporary Italian deli -- but the food goes much beyond that of a deli. Mostly everything is made in house and hand crafted from the finest ingredients available. DiFranco's won Denver's best Italian restaurant of 2013 from Westword. As described in the award-- this unassuming, low-key join is a casual counter service style restaurant with a focus on simple and seasonal italian cuisine. The menu, which changes seasonally, emphasizes using locally sourced and organic ingredients. Fresh pastas, salads, + sandwiches compose the daily menu for lunch and dinner. Ryan DiFranco created the concept in 2012 and is joined by fellow team members Lisa Redlich, Renee Steele, Francesca Barone, Luz Manzo, Jamie Garduno, Brooke Bornman, Corey Stewart, and Kelly Schexnaildre. Kalm with Kava

Kalm with Kava began in 2010 with a simple mission, to create great tasting and effective Noble kava products to help people relax more naturally. Mike Munsell, the founder and owner has been drinking kava and researching the history, cultural traditions, science and beneficial properties of the plant for over 16 years. Over the course of 7 years we worked with many different nutritionists, food scientists, and chemists to develop products that meet this goal and are ever evolving to this day. Direct, Local Sourcing of Kava From the outset, we knew that sourcing directly from small farms on the Pacific Islands was going to be the only way to acquire the highest quality Noble kava. Traveling to the South Pacific countries of Fiji, Vanuatu, and Tonga enables us to personally sample dozens of different kavas and select the absolute best kava varieties available. We meet the actual farmers and visually inspect the crops and processing techniques and only purchase the freshest, 100% Noble kava. Only the freshest Noble kava makes the cut and into the products in the Kalm with Kava online store. Regular trips the South Pacific allows us to meet and get to know the kava farmers that share our commitment to promoting only Noble Kava. Giving Back We believe in supporting kava farmers and giving back to South Pacific island communities. Purchasing direct from local farmers and avoiding large distributors helps us to ensure the quality of our kava, and also helps the farmers and villages receive more money when there is no middleman involved. Despite the growth in kava exports, many of the kava growing communities on the islands remain relatively poor with economic and infrastructure challenges which is why we also find ways to give back to these communities. Our fair trade and community approach means we always work to build both strong, business partnerships and personal friendships with our suppliers and their local villages, based on mutual respect and understanding.
