La Clínica Petras se inaugura bajo la Dirección del Doctor Gino Llosa, quien luego de 19 años de formación en Clínicas y Hospitales docentes del extranjero; entre ellos el Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras (La Habana – Cuba), Instituto Jaliciense de Cirugía Reconstructiva y Clínica José Guerrerosantos (Guadalajara – México), Instituto Yvo Pitanguy (Río de Janeiro – Brasil), Clínica Athena (Curitiba – Brasil), Clínica Planas y Clínica Teknon (Barcelona – España), entre otras; percibió que el común denominador de estos Centros exitosos eran el trabajo en equipo, la docencia e investigación a cargo de cirujanos plásticos de reconocido prestigio internacional. Petras, que proviene del griego TTÉTPA, significa piedras. Esta palabra es la que mejor define a esta Organización y a todo su personal. Cada una de estas piedras integradas constituye su mayor fortaleza y fueron seleccionadas para lograr la excelencia que merecen nuestros pacientes. Bajo esta premisa surge la Clínica Petras, teniendo los siguientes objetivos: SERVICIO ◾Mantener una relación médico - paciente óptima, basada en el respeto mutuo, comunicación y honestidad. ◾Prestar un servicio de excelencia al paciente y sus familiares antes, durante y después de una cirugía. ◾Brindar instalaciones modernas para el confort y tranquilidad de los pacientes. SEGURIDAD ◾Cumplir con las exigencias del Ministerio de Salud, Municipalidad de San Isidro y Defensa Civil como Clínica Especializada en Cirugía Plástica categoría II-E. ◾Garantizar que la cirugía será realizada por un profesional acreditado por el Colegio Médico del Perú como Cirujano Plástico con Registro Nacional de Especialista (RNE). ◾Realizar procedimientos quirúrgicos bajo protocolos de seguridad reconocidos internacionalmente. DESARROLLO PROFESIONAL ◾Cambiar el concepto de Clínicas personalizadas, que es lo característico en Perú. ◾Contribuir al desarrollo personal y profesional de Cirujanos Plásticos, reforzando sus valores éticos y capacitación académica, facilitando entrenamientos en el extranjero y asesoría de profesores internacionales en trabajos científicos
