Breakwater Chicago LLC is designing a new and exciting entertainment venue for Chicago. We are passionate about the City of Chicago and our goal is to help improve tourism, while also providing tax revenue to the City and creating hundreds of new jobs. Our mission is not only to make our city a fun place to visit and live, but also to have a positive impact on the local economy and the environment.

Le Colonial

Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Lake Forest*, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of romance and soft architecture. Heralded as "an escapist's paradise," celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver on exquisite attention to detail in a luxurious classic and idyllic atmosphere to the America's best cities. * Delray Beach, Naples, Scottsdale and Denver soon! Founded in 1993 in NYC by Rick Wahlstedt and three Frenchmen, Le Colonial remain a culinary innovation, offering an upscale French-Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Shortly after its opening, Le Colonial NYC quickly became the place to be and be seen on the Upper East Side, hosting the the likes of Robert DeNiro and Madonna. It features a dining room on the first floor, and a lounge on the second floor – the first of its kind in an industry where separating the bar from the dining room was thought to be a faux-pas. The restaurant was a great success, and in 1996, Rick partnered with Joe King to open Le Colonial in Chicago, where the concept proved once again to be a triumph. Today, Le Colonial Chicago has become an emblem of the Windy City. 2016 saw the two entrepreneurs take Le Colonial to the next level, by opening two new locations (Houston 2016, Atlanta 2019), re-designing all locations to become the iconic décor and dining experience it is today, and re-inventing the menu with incredible flavors and pairings. In the next two years, Le Colonial will be opening 5 new locations in Lake Forest, Delray Beach, Naples, Scottsdale and Cherry Creek.

Industrial Transport Services – or ITS, as we like to be called – is an over-the-road (OTR) truck driving company that specializes in the freight transportation of materials for our customers. Typically our CDL truck drivers pick our loads up from facilities that are run by our sister company Warehouse Services, Inc. Warehouse Services, Inc. is a Women's Business Enterprise National Council member. Industrial Transport Services employs hardworking men and women who enjoy being part of a team that helps others. Our CDL truck drivers operate from hubs based in the United States and Canada, ITS is a leading logistics provider making on-time deliveries to manufacturers, mass merchants, first- and second-tier automotive providers, as well as in the retail marketplace. Lakhani Hospitality, Inc.

Lakhani Hospitality, Inc. is an independent ownership & management company which owns & operates hotels, restaurants, & refueling stations in and around Chicago. The founder, Mansoorali Lakhani, began his long journey out of his impoverished village in his home country of Pakistan at the age of nineteen. Embarking on a cargo ship as a cleaner, he left with hopes of earning enough money to send back to his family. Traveling through Europe while working odd jobs, he finally landed in New Orleans and soon after moved to Chicago. In 2004, Lakhani took a leap into the hospitality industry by purchasing the Holiday Inn Skokie, and thus starting Lakhani Hospitality. In 2006, Lakhani began construction on the Skokie Banquet and Conference Center, adding 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting room to the Holiday Inn Skokie. In the coming years, Lakhani purchased the Holiday Inn Chicago O'Hare and the Holiday Inn Oakbrook. Mansoorali Lakhani, being family oriented, wanted to create a family business, and he did just that. Working with his wife, Shamim Lakhani, and his daughter, Sheila Lakhani Gilani, Mansoorali Lakhani looks to expand Lakhani Hospitality to continue to provide "Great Hotels Guest Love."
