Change Catalyst empowers diverse, inclusive and sustainable innovation through events, consulting and startup programs. Our Tech Inclusion programs explore and develop innovative solutions to tech diversity and inclusion. We partner with the tech community to solve diversity and inclusion together through conferences, career fairs, strategic consulting and training. Our work spans the full tech ecosystem, including: Education, Workplace, Entrepreneurship and Policy. Our Startup Ecosystem programs help underrepresented entrepreneurs and investors to start, scale and fund worldchanging businesses. We support underrepresented entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, networking and funding opportunities. We also provide education, mentoring and deal flow opportunities for investors looking to invest in underrepresented entrepreneurs. Change Catalyst is a Certified B Corp, winning the “Best for the World”​ award for community impact in 2014 and “Best in the World”​ overall in 2015.

The company was founded by college fraternity brothers, Dan Thibodeau and Justin Gaither shortly after they graduated from the University of Miami. Over 500,000 students have signed up since 2010 launch. Textsurf, www.textsurf.com The Expedia for finding the best prices on textbooks. Textsurf compares prices from a number of online vendors to help students save money. JoinU, www.JoinU.com An iPhone app that helps students join their classmates, discover shared interests and find out who likes them on campus. JoinU launched open Beta late April 2014. The vision is to create one central application for college students worldwide where students can connect with classmates, find compatible roommates, save on textbooks and more.

Amanda App Inc

Amanda was founded in early 2015. We are a team of fun, international and dorky people who want to build products that connect people and cultures. Two apps have been successfully built and released to the market, and been featured by Apple in the Best New App category across 23 countries in Europe. Amanda, the first app that lets Chinese learners around the world to learn Chinese through trending social media stories in China, was released on Apple App Store in April 2015. Seed, the reading app that enables Chinese users to explore and consume English content from top international sources, was launched to Apple App Store and Android stores in China in August 2015. The Amanda team is based in the bustling Shanghai, China. We work out of a bright loft office where we host random BBQ parties on our roof top. We are constantly looking for fun, and talented people to join us to work with growth, engagement, engineering, and content curation.
