Herzzentrum Dresden GmbH Universitätsklinik

Das Herzzentrum Dresden Universitätsklinik an der Technischen Universität Dresden ist eine national und international anerkannte Fachklinik für Herz- und Kreislauferkrankungen. Sie deckt das gesamte Spektrum kardiologischer und herzchirurgischer Maximalversorgung ab. Sie verfügt über 220 Planbetten und hat ein zertifiziertes Brustschmerz- und Transplantationszentrum. Neben den vier Operationssälen stehen vier Linksherzkatheter-Messplätze sowie ein interdisziplinär genutzter Hybrid Operationssaal zur Verfügung. Jährlich erfolgen etwa 10.000 stationäre und circa 15.000 ambulante Behandlungen, rund 7.000 kardiologische Interventionen und ungefähr 3.500 Operationen. Die intensivmedizinische Versorgung von akuten Notfällen nimmt dabei einen besonderen Stellenwert ein. Mehr als 1.000 akute Herzinfarkte werden jährlich in unserem Brustschmerzzentrum versorgt. Als Universitätsklinik ist das Herzzentrum Dresden sehr engagiert in der Fort- und Weiterbildung von Ärztinnen und Ärzten, Fachärztinnen und -ärzten und angehenden Fachärztinnen und -ärzten sowie in der Ausbildung von Studentinnen und Studenten. Durch das Engagement des Herzzentrums Dresden für universitäre Belange in den Bereichen Forschung und Lehre an der Technischen Universität Dresden werden Synergie von Innovation und Versorgungsmedizin für die Patientinnen und Patienten der gesamten Region gewährleistet.

The Caremark story began in 2005 in rural West Sussex, when CEO Kevin Lewis opened its doors to begin providing personal care and support to people in their own homes in the local towns and villages. Since then, Caremark has grown significantly and is now providing support to people in over 100 regions across the UK, Ireland and Malta. Kevin's experience with care and support began nearly 20 years before Caremark was founded, allowing him to understand exactly what customers wanted from their provider. This knowledge is now being used throughout all of Caremark's offices, enabling us to offer personal care nationwide.

West London NHS Trust

We are one of the most diverse providers of mental health, physical health and social care services in the UK. We provide care and treatment for around 100,000 people each year and serve a local population of 800,000 residents. We employ around 4,000 staff and serve a local community of many races, religions and languages, across three London boroughs. This includes local mental health services for adults, older people and children in the boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow. Our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire are internationally recognised. With our West London Forensic Service, they make us a leading national provider of secure and specialist mental healthcare. We include families and loved ones in planning care, to help recovery and to build strong, open communications with them. We also support them in their vital role as carers in the community with support groups and information.

Creative Support

Creative Support was established as Manchester Housing Consortium in 1990 and was registered in 1991 as an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status. We subsequently changed our name to Creative Support to show our commitment to developing creative responses to individual needs. In our first five years we successfully enabled people who had been living in long stay hospitals to move into supported housing, greatly improving their quality of life. By the late 1990's we were providing a wide range of housing, care and support services. Creative Support now provides person-centred services across England in 65 local authorities, supporting over 5,000 individuals with care and support needs. Our portfolio includes accommodation based services such as residential care, supported housing and extra care as well as a range of floating support and homecare services to service users living in their own homes. We also provide day activities and respite support so that service users, families and carers can enjoy holidays and short breaks. We currently provide care, support, housing and preventative services for: • People with a learning disability • People with mental health needs • People with dementia • People with autistic spectrum conditions • People with acquired brain injuries • People with sensory and physical disabilities • People with complex needs, including behaviour which can challenge services • Young people with care and support needs • Older people with care and support needs • People who are homeless or in housing need • People who have a history of problematic drug or alcohol use • People who have a history of offending or are at risk of offending The needs of our service users are diverse and we support people from all ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. Over 20% of our service users are from BAME groups and this is reflected in the diversity of our staff and volunteers.
