ESTA.WAKE (Free4Style)

The Free4Style in Estavayer-le-Lac is a highly renowned international sports event that has been organized for 20 years, every summer. It is considered as THE freestyle sports festival of the Swiss French part! Free4Style presents 3 most spectacular disciplines: • FMX (Freestyle Motocross) • Wakeboard • Jet Ski (Flyboard and Jetsurf) The fourth “discipline” has also strongly contributed to the awareness of the event: the famous DJ nights! Every year, the international FMX star and local hero Mat Rebeaud takes part in the Free4Style Contest and presents outstanding shows! The event enjoys an ideal situation in Estavayer-le-Lac on the southeast bench of Lake Neuchatel and welcomes every year more than 25’000 spectators from all over Switzerland thanks to an easy access via the A1 highway (30 minutes from Bern and Lausanne). The most idyllic event site allows the public to follow competitions right in front of their eyes. But Free4Style has more to it. It is a gathering and a festival with shops and food stalls. The Free4Style public is rather young (18 – 35 years), mixed, active and trendy but also counts an important number of families.
