AHA-LAB Oy

AHA-Lab Oy is a testing laboratory for asbestos, dusts, man-made mineral fibers and harmful chemical substances in construction materials and ambient air. The laboratory also performs indoor air quality- and occupational hygiene-related sampling, measurements and analysis.

Finnish Bioeconomy Cluster FIBIC Oy

Finnish Bioeconomy Cluster FIBIC is one of six Strategic Centers for science, technology and innovation in Finland (SHOK). The aim of FIBIC is to turn science and technology into sustainable bio-based solutions. We offer businesses and research organizations a new way of engaging in close, long-term cooperation and leveraging the best competences and resources. FIBIC combines research and companies for innovative solutions. We believe in a more innovative, resource-efficient and competitive society. We are accelerating Finland to become a pioneer in the sustainable bioeconomy. Research programs are the core FIBIC’s activities. Our on-going research programs are related to the development of intelligent and resource-efficient processes, future biorefineries and bioenergy solutions.

Council of Finnish Academies

Council of Finnish Academies is a cooperative body of the four science academies in Finland. The Council operates both nationally and internationally to promote high quality research in all fields of the sciences and the humanities. Its areas of concern include science policy, the production of research-based expert reports and statements, research assessments and awards as well as science communication in the wider society. The Council represents Finnish science academies in numerous international scientific organizations. It is also responsible for coordinating the activities of over 30 national committees, which represent various disciplines. The Council also acts as the Secretariat of the European ICSU (International Council for Science).
