The Edmonton Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization that supports and promotes the arts community in Edmonton. The EAC works to increase the profile and involvement of arts and culture in all aspects of our community life through activities that: -Invest in Edmonton festivals, arts organizations and individual artists through municipal, corporate and private funding. -Represent Edmonton’s arts community to government and other agencies and provide expert advice on issues that affect the arts. -Build partnerships and initiate projects that strengthen our community. -Create awareness of the quality, variety and value of artistic work produced in Edmonton

Organization for the Prevention of Violence

The Organization for the Prevention of Violence is a community and expert-led non-government organization. We are engaged in research and prevention-based activities that aim to mitigate hate-motivated violence. In pursuit of this goal, we work closely with communities, human service providers, and all levels of government.

Richmond Multicultural Community Services

For over 30 years, Richmond Multicultural Community Services (RMCS) provided services to newcomers, immigrants, and refugees. Our hope is that each single client lives meaningfully in Richmond. Our vision is for a harmonious and inclusive society that values equality and diversity. At RMCS our mission is to foster intercultural harmony through leadership, collaboration, and quality service delivery. We are known for the services we provide to support the immigrant and refugee communities in Richmond. We are passionate about our role in the settlement, education, and integration of immigrants from the day they arrive in Richmond. We strive to welcome newcomers by assisting with their initial settlement needs. RMCS offers one-on-one support for newcomers to Canada as well as English language training, seniors programs, youth programs, and job search assistance including resume & cover letter writing support. Our staff is here to provide settlement services if you are new to Canada or have immigrated here long before. If you’re looking for help and don’t know where to begin, we are here to support you. RMCS’ Inclusive Communities Program (ICP) serves to help create a welcoming community for all. This program focus on diversity and inclusion, and is dedicated to assisting organizations and businesses create an inclusive city for newcomers to Canada.
