Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (ADUST) is one of the leading teaching and research-based Universities in Bangladesh. To honor the great ancient Bengali Buddhist scholar Atish Dipankar Srijnan, Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology was established by the Atish Dipankar Foundation with the initiative of a group of philanthropists, industrialists, and academics. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh approved the establishment of Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology in 2004 under the Private University Act (PUA) 1992 and its curricula and programs have been approved by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission. Bangladesh University of Business & Technology(B.U.B.T)

Business and Technology(BUBT) is one of the eight Universities to receive the Green Signal from the government, inspite of its being one of the very young Private Universities of Bangladesh, only 10 years old, established in 2003. It is modeled on North American Universities and it was duly approved by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. It was founded by Dhaka Commerce College, Mipur-2, Dhaka-1216 and is managed by a Board of Trustees and a Syndicate in which the Principal of the College and the Chairman of the Governing Body of the College are the Ex-Officio members. Thus BUBT and Dhaka Commerce College are the two institutions working together in peace and harmony for imparting quality education. Within a short time of its establishment BUBT has succeeded in transforming itself into one of the leading Private Universities of Bangladesh and has since been providing quality education and training.

Cotton Development Board(CDB)

Cotton Development Board (CDB) was established under the Ministry of Agriculture in 1972 to promote extension and research of cotton production in Bangladesh.

bangladesh agricultural development corporation (badc)

Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) the successor of the East Pakistan Agricultural Development Corporation, established under the Agricultural Development Corporation Ordinance, 1961 (E.P. Ordinance XXXVII of 1961). In 1975, BADC was renamed as the Bangladesh Agricultural Inputs Supply and Services Corporation (BAISSC) to distinguish the functions of the corporation from other development agencies of the Government in the agricultural sector. But again in 1976 BAISSC was renamed as BADC. Based in Dhaka city, BADC, an autonomous corporate body under the Ministry of Agriculture, serves to the whole of Bangladesh and has a nationwide network of outlying field offices down to the upazila level and at some places even below that level. The general direction and administration of the corporation and all of its affairs are vested in a Board of Directors headed by the Chairman. The operational set-up of the Corporation comprises five wings. These are: Seed & Horticulture, Minor Irrigation, Fertilizer Management, Finance and Administration. The mandatory or primary functions of BADC are: to make suitable arrangements throughout Bangladesh for the production, procurement, transport, storage and distribution of essential agricultural inputs such as seed and fertilizers and providing irrigation facilities through utilization of surface and underground water to the farmers. Professionals from different disciplines such as agriculture, engineering, economics, management, computer science etc. work together in BADC. The total number of sanctioned posts was 25,451. But during the early 90s due to withdrawal of fertilizer management activities from BADC and privatization of irrigation activities and also due to normal and voluntary retirement and other reasons the number of working people and capacity of the organization was reduced.
