AULa Design

A Dutch multi-disciplinary consortium that offers one-stop solutions for the design of new ecological cities. AULa offers a unique organizational process in which strong design offices collaborate in order to create the best sustainable solutions for the built environment. Each has its own design focus so that each aspect is dealt with through excellence and innovation. In China, AULa aims at a long term development strategy by offering sustainable solutions in every respect. Therefore, AULa integrates programmatic features for long term development, so that its designs have a solid base. By doing research on long term regional planning and governmental housing policies and by adapting solutions to local characteristics, local embedding of our projects is ensured.

Europan Nederland

Europan is a European competition of ideas, bringing together design professionals, private stakeholders and public representatives of European cities to generate fresh solutions to today’s challenging urban questions. The competition serves a dual purpose: on the one hand it gives young architects, urban designers and landscape professionals the opportunity to turn their ideas into real projects, while on the other hand it offers cities and developers innovative approaches to local urban planning and development.

Current architecture + urbanism

Current is an internationally oriented architecture company based in the Netherlands. We believe architecture can make the difference. Influence people and their well being. Make the world look even more beautiful. Therefore, all our customers get the specific attention they fully deserve. In our cross-cutting approach, Current goes to extremes. Knowlegde-based with intuition. Our work covers different scales of design ranging from interiors and private homes to urban design and public space. We operate in a dynamic and diverse environment and stimulate multiple disciplines to take part in our projects. Current architecture+urbanism is headed by its director Stefan Witteman. Stefan gained extensive experience working on a wide range of projects both in the Netherlands and abroad. Current acknowledges the importance of education and is associated with Delft University of Technology and the Academies of Architecture in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
