El Clúster Turístico de Santo Domingo - CTSD, es una organización gubernamental (ONG), que agrupa instituciones públicas y privadas vinculadas al sector turismo, basada en un plan estratégico que busca impulsar el desarrollo local sostenible de la provincia de Santo Domingo compuesta de 7 municipios. El CTSD se ocupa de unir, concientizar y comprometer a los diferentes actores públicos y privados del sector turístico, para articular, asesorar y promover proyectos de interés general para fomentar el crecimiento económico de esta comunidad turística. Somos una organización abocada a: - Promover y articular del desarrollo del Gran Santo Domingo - Impulsar el desarrollo local - Agenciar calidad de vida para los ciudadanos del Gran Santo Domingo. - Desarrollar planes que estimulen el incremento de visitantes. - Agente de cambio. - Apoyar fortalecimiento de la cadena de comercialización, contribuyendo al desarrollo de la industria del turismo, sumando esfuerzos público-privados. El CTSD obtuvo su personería jurídica como Organización sin Fines de Lucro (Ley 122-05) el 14 de febrero de 2008, sobre la regulación y fomento de las asociaciones sin fines de lucro y por las disposiciones contenidas en sus estatutos y las leyes de la República Dominicana.
