ADV Manufacturing Ltd
ADV started trading in 2011 under the name CPP (Advanced Manufacturing) Ltd, as a then wholly owned subsidiary of the highly regarded CPP Global Holdings Ltd Group based in Coventry UK.
ADV initially procured a useful initial sales order book with transferred business through Aston Martin & Bentley and with full customer support relocating the usable tooling and equipment from the defunct Silmet and Pianoforte organizations to a brownfield 180,000ft² factories in Coventry, UK.
Core competencies
• Production manufacturing core competences include Press Tooling, Roll Forming, Stretch Bending, Metal Finish/Polishing, Laser Cutting & Welding – fully supported by an increasing level of automation. Significant capital investment & skills development has been made in these areas of the business and continues
• New product implementation (NPI) with program/project management skills as well as quality/process/measurement/logistics management.
• Tool making, ADV manufacturers all of its own tools using modern CNC machining centres & a team of tool makers on assembly.
• Strong apprenticeship program.
ADV has already invested into automation along with experienced professional manufacturing managers strengthening its position in a market that does not have high levels of competition. Taking a sensibly conservative view on further new business prospects suitable to ADV’s core business, it is realistic to expect continued growth so long as appropriate investments are made in capital equipment, in materials and in the workforce which will build confidence with the current and future customer base.
