Rampart Detection Systems Ltd.

Rampart is an applied research driven company that has developed novel magnetic field, electric field and electrodynamic field sensors that are used in all of its company proprietary products, as well as in several joint venture / licensing applications. Rampart focusses on three distinct markets: Mining & Industrial: Rampart produces and sells (through its global distributors) several world-class monitoring and supervision systems specifically designed for large bulk solids handling systems. *Please see our Products Page* Rampart is also pursuing the application of its proprietary sensors into areas such as high-speed rail inspection, bridge deck inspection and the detection of dangerous electric fields surrounding power lines for the protection of construction machinery (e.g. concrete pumpers). eParliament

Knowledge shouldn't be buried under jargon. eParliament is a new effort by young Canadian academics to modernize academia's relationship with the public. Get involved (https://eparliament.ca/submit/). We are building an open-access knowledge database by working with experts to publish plain-language summaries of peer-reviewed research. In partnership with Wolfram Research, we are developing computational tools to make expert knowledge easier to access and understand. Through its open-access publications, eParliament aims to promote interdisciplinary collaborations, citizen engagement, and to get academic ideas into political discussions. eParliament was created by a collective of young scientists, consultants and artists inspired by the foundational strength of Canadian Parliament - unanticipated solutions to complex problems are created when different perspectives collaborate. Our vision is the creation of a new public institute that catalyzes innovation through citizen and expert engagement. An organization with an accredited HRPP has made a commitment to continuous quality improvement and to conducting ethically- and scientifically-sound research. HRA Canada’s accreditation standards are built on Canada’s normative documents governing human research and embrace our country’s unique cultures and diversity. The standards also encompass the relevant US Code of Federal Regulations, related guidelines and best practices. The accreditation standards are straightforward, effective and tailored to public and private Canadian REBs, CROs, investigative sites and biobanks so that all entities can work in concert with consistency, transparency and accountability of conduct. We believe that when it comes to risk management and safeguarding the rights and welfare of research participants, Canada is among the best places in the world to conduct human research.
