East Asia Student Association

East Asia Student Association is focusing on creating a multicultural platform for students interested in Asia. Our mission is to provide opportunities for international students to learn about Asian cultures and contemporary affairs. Our guiding principles are built on human rights, equality, democracy, and sustainability. We have about 250 members from around 30 different countries studying in Lund. In line with our mission, we want to combine our values of integrity, tolerance, and inclusivity, with a unique and unforgettable experience, for all our members to enjoy. Our activities include events, for instance, public lectures, cultural celebrations, and social hangouts. In order to create unforgettable memories, we want you to connect to us, and be part of the EASA family. FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy)

The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) is the Swedish government agency for peace, security and development. FBA supports international peace operations and international development cooperation. The agency conducts training, research and method development in order to strengthen peacebuilding and statebuilding in conflict and post-conflict countries. We also recruit civilian personnel and expertise for peace operations and election observation missions led by the EU, UN and OSCE. The agency is named after Count Folke Bernadotte, the first UN mediator. Here on Linkedin we share the latest news from our activities. Expertgruppen för biståndsanalys / Expert Group For Aid Studies / EBA

Expertgruppen för Biståndsanalys (EBA) är en statlig kommitté som analyserar och utvärderar det svenska biståndet. EBA bidrar med kunskap som kan förbättra biståndet och belyser aktuella frågor och viktiga ämnen som inte fått tillräcklig uppmärksamhet. EBA väljer självständigt vad som bör studeras. Exempel på frågor som har studerats är varför vissa länder är mer framgångsrika än andra, resultat av biståndsfinansierade klimatsatsningar och utformning av stöd till demokratisk utveckling. EBA bygger broar mellan politiker, forskare och praktiker – områden som inte alltid talar med varandra och EBA:s seminarier är en naturlig mötesplats för debatt om viktiga biståndsfrågor. Målet är att bidra till ett bra bistånd som genomförs effektivt.
