LifeSteps Council

LIFESTEPS COUNCIL ON ALCOHOL AND DRUGS has provided substance abuse prevention, intervention, and educational services in Williamson County, Texas, since 1978. Our mission is to improve our community's health, safety, and well-being by preventing substance use disorders, providing early intervention, and supporting long-term recovery. LifeSteps offers the following services and programs: SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION COALITION - The grassroots effort seeks to raise drug awareness, reduce youth access and advocate for polices and laws that will help reduce alcohol, tobacco, prescription medication and marijuana abuse. PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM INTERVENTION (WEE CARE PROGRAM) - Provides parenting classes, counseling, parent/child activities, referrals and case management for pregnant and post-partum clients in Travis County. P.A.D.R.E. PROGRAM - Helps to manage specific needs and give the chance to learn from and with other parents about being a nurturing parent. ALCOHOL AND DRUG EDUCATION CLASSES - LifeSteps offers education programs designed specifically for alcohol and/or drug related charges. Classes include: alcohol awareness program for minors, DWI education, drug offender and repeat offender education. CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY ASSESSMENTS - Provided by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to determine the most appropriate level of treatment, education and referrals. RECOVERY SUPPORT - We offered a family recovery support program.

The Cutting Edge Hair Spa is passionate about the beauty industry. We pride ourselves in customer service, hair care services, and industry education. We begin each service with a personal consultation to ensure that we can give the client what they need as well as what they want. There's no need to worry about over booking because every service is given a specific time frame and every client is scheduled accordingly. We retail professional salon products to ensure that healthy hair care is maintained between salon visits. Through continued education, we stay informed of new products, services and changes in the beauty industry. We are proud members of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and National Cosmetology Association (NCA).

RISE Fitness + Adventure LLC

We're a group of fitness enthusiasts who wanted something different in a training facility. RISE is functional fitness, blended with teamwork, technology and science then capped with a healthy dose of obstacle race training. The workout is never the same and the challenge is always harder. We believe that all people have the ability to be truly fit, given sufficient time, determination, peer support and proper dedication. We believe in functional fitness – training hard with complex movements, unique tasks, physical obstacles and activities that take you outside of your comfort zone, and keep you there until you realize you're capable of far more than you thought. We are vastly different than any other fitness facility in the region. There are no mirrors here; there are no rows of mass-market cardio equipment and there are no traditional exercise machines. We've taken key elements of bootcamp training, functional fitness, obstacle course racing and endurance challenges to bring a unique hybrid approach to physical fitness. There are no shortcuts. There is no magic pill. You will sweat, you will curse, you will struggle, you will tackle challenges, and you will face your demons - coming out stronger, faster, and healthier.
