ESBA - European Small Business Alliance

The European Small Business Alliance (ESBA) is a respected, apolitical, and influential advocate for European entrepreneurs. We are the campaigning voice for the modern European entrepreneur. Independent. Knowledgeable. Influential. Challenging. And Loud. ESBA campaigns on behalf of a million small businesses throughout Europe, all of whom (whether they are micros, self employed, traditional family businesses, or hi-tech startups), share one very important thing in common. They are all entrepreneurs.

123-piano is een muzikaal project dat je uitdaagt de hand uit te steken. Naar de piano, maar vooral naar elkaar. Live-muziek is een sterk bindmiddel. Het brengt mensen samen en genereert spontane interacties. Ontmoetingen, die misschien wel leiden tot nieuwe samenwerkingen of vriendschappen. En dat is precies waar wij met dit project naar toe willen. Vooraf krijgen enkele kunstenaars of sociaal-artistieke projecten de kans om een piano tot kunstwerk om te toveren. Op deze manier trekken de kunstpiano's de aandacht van de toevallige voorbijganger. En lokken zij een eerste reactie uit. De piano's staan vrij ter beschikking voor iedereen. Van zij die een eerste keer de pianotoetsen zullen aanslaan tot de gedreven virtuoos. En dit in het centrum van een stad, op het plein in een sociale omgeving, aan het station of op een evenement. Daar waar muziek het sociale contact kan stimuleren. 123-piano is, muziek in zijn volle kracht.

Diesis Network

Diesis Network supports the development of the social economy, social entrepreneurship and social innovation worldwide through the implementation of knowledge-based activities, such as training, project design, consultancy and advisory services, technical assistance and research. Diesis is one of the widest EU networks specialised in supporting social economy and social enterprise development covering 29 countries through major national federations and national support networks associating more than 90,000 organisations and 1.2 million workers. Diesis is quoted by the European Parliament as a good practice example of fostering the institutional and social visibility of the social economy. Diesis Network works in partnership with European thematic networks and platforms such as ETUC, REVES, Social Economy Europe and EMES. It is also a member of CECOP, ESSFI and Platform Cooperativism Consortium (PCC). Diesis also joined the recently created UNTFSSE, the United Nations Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy. Moreover, Diesis provides expertise to the ESF Social Economy Thematic Network, which assists Member States on the transnational aspects of the ESF. Diesis Network takes part in the European Migration Forum, organised by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee, a platform for dialogue between civil society and the European institutions on issues relating to migration, asylum and the integration of third-country nationals.
