American Legacy Fine Arts

American Legacy Fine Arts is proud to represent only the finest contemporary-traditional artists in California, and the United States. The art gallery represents 21 award-winning painters and sculptors. This diverse group of artists provides our clients with the opportunity to select the perfect work of art for their home, business or public collection. Our artists are among the finest plein-air painters, figure painters and sculptors in the nation. The artists are all Artist and Signature Members of the historic California Art Club (est. 1909). Some of the artists are also members of Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of America, the National Sculpture Society and the Portuguese Bend Art Colony. ALFA specializes in personal service, including private art consultations and commissions as well as large sculpture installations and civic art projects. The art gallery is located in Pasadena, California just minutes away from Downtown Los Angeles. The gallery is situated in a tranquil neighborhood near the Rose Bowl Stadium, Gamble House and Norton Simon Museum.

Foley Gallery

FOLEY brings together fine line and obsessive precision in the disciplines of drawing, cut paper, painting, and photography. Michael Foley opened Foley Gallery in the fall of 2004 after several years of working with notable photography galleries including Fraenkel Gallery, Howard Greenberg Gallery, and Yancey Richardson Gallery. Chicago Feminist Film Festival

About The Chicago Feminist Film Festival showcases independent, international film, predominantly shorts, spanning documentary, fiction, and experimental genres, and aims to address issues of gender, sexuality, race, and other forms of inequality often missing from mainstream media. This in turn means creating inclusive public spaces for under-represented artists to share their work — particularly women, people of color, queer, and transgender folks, given their struggle for visibility in the mainstream film industry. Another goal is to forge connections between local, national, and international film. The over-arching assumption behind the festival is that art plays a vital role in bringing people together and encouraging them to think deeply about issues of equality and social justice. The films in the festival cut across genres, including social documentaries, horror, comedies, whimsical films, and romances. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will be delighted by the diversity of representations you see on screen.
