We fund India and US based NGOs and organizations developing open source software for the public good. Our current focus is on working with NGOs in India. Some of the work that we do includes: * We run Project Tech4Dev, which enhances the technology capacity of NGOs * We fund organizations across multiple sectors, including Sanitation, Health, Education, Adolescent Girls, Sports for Children and Philanthropic Giving * We volunteer and fundraise with friends and family with an Indian NGO for three weeks every summer

Gloves For Grief

We're Gloves For Grief, a 501c3 organization formed from our own pain that transformed into powerful purpose. Through our own grief journey, we realized the shortcomings of available resources, and how grief is not something openly discussed. We are on a mission to make meaningful and long-lasting grief support available to more families in their time of need. Our organization provides essential mind, body, soul resources to grieving families in desperate need of support. A visa gift card for immediate supplies during a difficult time. A self-care experience, offering moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. A 2-night grief retreat, providing a safe space to heal. 3 months of 1 on 1 therapy to help families work through their pain. We also offer bi-monthly wellness/ fitness events to provide community and a way to release feelings of grief. Our events promote healing and an opportunity to come as you are, and connect with others who truly understand. We want you to always remember grief is not meant to be carried alone. It is meant to be shared. While the Boxing Gloves connect us to a core element in our fitness program, they also represent the fight it takes to work through our grief. Abby's Closet, Inc.

Abby’s Closet is an Oregon-based nonprofit that hosts an annual Prom Gown Giveaway event to distribute dresses, shoes, and accessories that have been collected throughout the year to more than 2,000 women from 200+ different high schools around Oregon and SW Washington. Our mission is to inspire confidence and respect in high school women by providing free formal gowns for use at prom or other memorable events. For many of the young women who attend the Giveaway, receiving a gown presents an opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime event they might otherwise not be able to participate in due to the expense of purchasing a dress. Founded in 2004, Abby’s Closet has given away more than 20,000 dresses, and in doing so promotes education, confidence and inclusiveness. High school students are empowered to learn leadership skills by serving on the Student Advisory Board. We award a $1,000 college scholarship each year to the applicant that best embodies the spirit and mission of Abby’s Closet. At the Giveaway, we are welcoming to people of different gender identities, abilities, sizes and socioeconomic status. The goal of Abby’s Closet is to make every attendee feel special, beautiful, and confident.

Art of Conservation

ART OF CONSERVATION (AoC), founded in 2006, inspires children and their families to conserve biodiversity through creative learning and one-health awareness. The organization encourages learning through creative expression, combining science-based lesson plans with visual art, poetry, song, dance and sports. AoC programs are directed toward school children who live in areas where endangered species conservation programs are underway but have limited opportunities to directly experience, engage and invest in these efforts. By collaborating with socially responsible partners, including conservationists, educators and health professionals, AoC develops both in- and out-of-school lesson plans specific to each community and its conservation challenges. During its seven years in Rwanda, AoC provided children with thousands of hours of educational programming. New initiatives have been launched in Guyana and Panama.

Children's Fresh Air Home

The Children’s Fresh Air Home is a faith based non-profit organization providing an enriching summer experience at the Jersey Shore in a safe, positive environment for children who may be living with family or community adversities. For 114 continuous years the Children’s Fresh Air Home has provided a unique summer respite for deserving children from South Jersey communities. The Home, located in North Wildwood, New Jersey provides a unique faith based, 12 day program for children ages 7 to 11 who may be living with family or community adversities. The Children’s Fresh Air Home is supported through the generous contributions of churches, civic organizations, businesses and individuals, making it possible for each child to enjoy a summer retreat at no cost to their families. Unfortunately, nearly a century of wear and tear in a seashore environment has taken its toll on the physical structure of the Home. The Century Campaign “Preserving the Exterior and Rebuilding the Interior”, is a capital campaign that has been launched to renovate and expand the current structure.
