Founded in 2008, Finding Petroleum runs events throughout the year that provide an impartial platform for Oil & Gas professionals to gather, exchange ideas and discuss subjects that are relevant to the many challenges that are faced throughout an industry which is always innovating to meet changing global needs. With events held in London, Aberdeen and Stavanger, our subject matter range from - Finding Oil & Gas, new technologies and improved production, security, safety, environmental issues, working with differing government and public opinion to seismic surveys, exploration developments and much more. Finding Petroleum and it's members believe that all of these issues are best handled through human skill, sensitivity, intelligence, mental agility, collaboration, meritocracy, hard work, technology and data. BioTechniques

BioTechniques is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing original laboratory methods, related technical tools, and methods-oriented review articles that are of broad interest to professional life scientists, as well as to scientists from other disciplines (e.g., chemistry, physics, computer science) interested in life science applications for their technologies. Since 1983, BioTechniques has been a leading peer-reviewed journal for methods-related research. The journal considers: · Reports describing innovative new methods, substantive modifications to existing methods, or innovative applications of existing methods to new models or scientific questions · Descriptions of technical tools that facilitate the design or performance of experiments or data analysis, such as software and simple laboratory devices · Surveys of technical approaches related to broad fields of research · Brief communications of interesting observations or cautionary tales concerning experimental design, methodology or analysis BioTechniques welcomes unsolicited article proposals. Byte The Book

I founded Byte The Book in 2012. We are about making creative connections and helping our members navigate the contemporary publishing world together. We have around 450 members and over 5000 subscribers. We offer consultancy, specialising in professional introductions, business development, industry advice, product development and content aquisition. We run events both live and online, with formats including panel discussions, agent tables (where author have their work read and commented on by agents), networking parties, workshops and adventures.
