The New Venture Challenge at American University of Sharjah in the UAE embraces the spirit of the UAE as a destination for brave, big and bold innovation. In just a few generations, the UAE has emerged as a hotspot for innovation and entrepreneurship, with futuristic cities rising out of the desert, and aspirations to take on Mars. We invite you to engage in this energy, ambition and unwavering determination, joining the best and brightest hard-science graduates from around the world in the AUS New Venture Challenge.
This Challenge is set to become the region’s richest start-up competition, giving teams of hard-science graduates the opportunity to take their great idea borne of science from concept to commercial sensation. If your team’s idea is one of the top 16 in the world, you will be invited to Sharjah, UAE, to transform your idea through the advice of entrepreneurs, scientists and innovators who have already made it big in the business world. This is the competition for those who are single-minded in the desire to change the world for the better through science, who are energetic, passionate and up for a challenge, and who want to learn from those who have already carved out their own entrepreneurship or innovation path.
