Meyer Turku

The Meyer Turku Oy shipyard is specialized in the construction of very demanding, innovative, and environmentally efficient cruise ships, car ferries, and special vessels. Our share of the global cruise construction market is approximately 15%, and our shipyard's order books extend to 2026. Our largest customers are Royal Caribbean International, Carnival Cruise Lines, TUI Cruises and the Finnish Border Guard. ​ Meyer Turku employs 2.000 top professionals and operates the Turku shipyard where vessels are built since 1737. Meyer Turku’s subsidiaries are Piikkio Works Oy, a cabin factory located in Piikkiö, Shipbuilding Completion Oy, which offers complete deliveries to public spaces, and ENG’nD Oy, a shipbuilding and offshore design company based in Rauma.​ Together with the German shipyards, Meyer Werft in Papenburg, and Neptun Werf in Rostock, Meyer Turku forms the Meyer Group, one of world’s leading cruise ship builders.

Our Services Shipbuilding The Shipbuilding division specializes in the design and the construction of a broad range of offshore vessels of both steel and aluminum such as Harbour/Terminal Tugs, Dive Maintenance Support Vessels, Seismic Support Vessels, Utility Vessels, Multi Purpose Supply Vessels, Fast Support Intervention Vessels (FSIV), Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels, Offshore Support Vessels, Salvage Tugs, Crew Boats, Pilot Boats and Security/Patrol Boats. Ship Repair and Conversion The ship repair division provides major repair, refit and conversion services of all types of marine vessels. With modern facilities and a large skilled workforce, the company is fully equipped to handle a broad range of vessel repairs and provide services to international clients with high customer satisfaction.

Damen Naval

Damen Naval is the dedicated naval shipbuilding division of the Damen Shipyards Group, which brings together all the naval activities of the group, both in the Netherlands and abroad. With roots stretching back 150 years – to the Royal Schelde yard in Vlissingen – Damen Naval is the only naval original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the Netherlands. Having delivered more than 400 vessels to customers all around the world, we are a trusted partner in the international marketplace, known for our role as full-service provider, or integrator, throughout the lifecycle of our products. The creation of Damen Naval follows a series of impressive accomplishments on the international market, among which are our selection for the design and build of the German Navy’s F126 frigates and the delivery of the 10th SIGMA combatant to the export market. Moreover, we are proud of our long tradition of serving the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN), the launching customer of eight successive generations of Damen Combatants. This relationship continues today with the contract to build the RNLN’s new Combat Support Ship and the new Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates (ASWF) for both the Netherlands and Belgium, and our preselection as one of the parties – along with partner SAAB – for the Walrus Class Submarine Replacement Programme. Damen Naval is one of the cornerstones of the Netherlands’ naval triple helix. This unique way of working together with government, knowledge centres, and industry shapes the landscape in which innovative and distinctive ship classes are created.
