We ensure surplus food, housing and vital resources, reaches communities who need them most. Where we have poverty, we can have prosperity, where we have loneliness, we can have community and where we have landfill we can have reuse.

Alabama Bicentennial Commission

Created from the Mississippi Territory in 1817, the Alabama Territory became the nation’s twenty-second state on December 14, 1819. ALABAMA 200, the state’s official bicentennial commemoration, will consider a rich and complex history made every day by people like us. Whether they lived here for centuries or came from far away, Alabamians made this land of natural beauty and diversity, innovation and change, challenge and resilience, their home. Their stories embrace some of the most significant moments in national and world history. Between January 2017 and December 2019, Alabamians all over the state and beyond will create and take part in educational and enriching opportunities to discover, explore, preserve, and share those stories.

Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown

Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown has been Uptown's business association since 1923. Our mission is to be the primary advocate, voice and support organization for the historic and diverse Uptown business community. Our vision is to be a driving force in creating a clean, safe, attractive, well-informed, self-reliant, thriving and pride-filled business community that supports and is supported by local consumers and is a destination point for Chicago visitors. The boundaries of the Chamber are Irving Park Road on the south; Foster Avenue on the north; Lake Michigan on the east; and Ravenswood on the west from Montrose Avenue to Foster Avenue and Clark Street on the west from Irving Park Road to Montrose Avenue. As Uptown continues to grow as a premier location for public and private investment, the Chamber is dedicated to supporting and strengthening both existing and new businesses and organizations. Our members support our mission to build a strong, unified business environment; facilitate economic development; and strengthen community.

Kahi Kai

The French-Hawaiian non-profit organisation Kahi Kai ("Unique Ocean" in Hawaiian) aims to highlight the curiosity, fragility and beauty of the marine biodiversity in order to promote the interest of all in the protection of this marine world. This marine biodiversity is essential for the health of the ecosystems of our planet but also for humanity. Kahi Kai is composed of scientists and people passionate about nature, discoveries and adventure, and connects scientists and the general public through exhibitions, conferences and workshops.

Suomen Meriarkeologinen Seura Ry

Suomen Meriarkeologinen Seura (MAS) perustettiin vuonna 1995 edistämään meritieteiden tutkimusta, koulutusta ja harrastustoimintaa Suomessa. Seura on ollut Tieteellisten seurain valtuuskunnan (TSV) jäsen vuodesta 2016 ja on ainoa meriarkeologisen sektorin jäsen TSV:ssä. MAS on voittoa tavoittelematon yhdistys. Missiomme on suojella, tehdä tunnetuksi ja helpommin saavutettavaksi suomalaista vedenalaista, maailmaanlaajuisestikin ainutlaatuista kulttuuriperintöä. Missiomme toteuttamiseksi julkaisemme koulutus- ja tieteellisiä julkaisuja, järjestämme tieteellisiä konferensseja sekä edistämme vedenalaista tutkimusta ja kulttuuriperintöprojekteja.
