The Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council serves as a bridge between being a victim to becoming a survivor of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, homelessness, and homemaker displacement through the provision of safe shelter, advocacy, support services, and preventive education.

Mission: Building a foundation for healthy families through education, individual support and community connections. Purpose: To recognize the benefits of a strong family structure by empowering youth in developing socialization skills, family and individual values. Acknowledging the value of listening to our youth we have learned they struggle with the chaotic society we live in. Hearing them we have targeted the following issues to address: bullying, self-harm, poor school performance. We believe that these issues allow for unhealthy choices that lead to substance abuse and suicide.
