UA Local 290 Apprentice and Journeyman Training Institute provides learning opportunities which meet the needs of clients, contractors and the union through quality apprenticeship programs with the following: • Qualified staff and instructors. • Training and skills utilized in the workplace through traditional mentoring and hands-on delivery methods. • The partnership between the Training Institute and industry to provide quality training. • Quality training facilities and administrative support to all apprentices enrolled in the Local 290 apprenticeship programs.
