Chameleon Innovations Australia (Chameleon) is a privately owned Australian company which holds a number of global patents for its Anti-Theft and Anti-Counterfeit solutions, which can provide protection to businesses and consumers against the effects of theft, and more recently, counterfeits via a revolutionary new application system.
Chameleon originally developed and patented a UV marking ink that has millions of unique chemical ‘fingerprints’ which was used by several top mining companies including Rio Tinto, Fortescue Mining Group and Anglo America, as an Anti-Theft or Theft Deterrent solution.
More recently, Chameleon combined this established and proven fingerprint Ink with its newly developed spray pattern technology, (provisional patent lodged) and together they provide a revolutionary, uncopiable and comprehensive Anti-Counterfeit solution with three independent modes of authentication.

With this revolutionary advancement, Chameleon believes it has developed a solution that fills a large gap in the Anti-Counterfeit technology space and is intending on disrupting the industry.
The technology can be easily applied directly to an item or the packaging, for as little as a few cents per item with large volumes, to provide a unique identifier to items such as; Wine, Food, Luxury goods, Pharmaceuticals, Car and Machinery parts and even Legal Documents and Certificates.
The marked Items can then be authenticated using a Smartphone App.
It can even be incorporated onto an e-commerce platform for online authentication to confirm the authenticity of an item before it is purchased online. Our research shows that no other technology currently available on the market can provide this.
