BiSA is regarded as the major independent bearing inspection, repair and services organization in Southern Africa and was established in April 2002. Proving significant growth and market expansion, BiSA has very successfully expanded its service to include four levels of reclamation up to major repairs and modifications on large and complex bearings. At the heart of our success is an industry-unique combination of high-tech facilities, stringent quality assurance programs, specialized processes and equipment, and a well-trained and educated workforce, allowing BiSA to set new standards in quality and cost efficiency. In 2005 BiSA expanded its operations and have since aligned ourselves strategically with manufacturers and distributors of key equipment, products and services which complement our core business, to add further value to our customers’ operations. In 2010 BiSA started offering field services and onsite maintenance and inspection of bearings to large plant and equipment. Today the BiSA Field Service Teams are actively involved in the servicing of plant and equipment for the steel, platinum and gold mining industry. Coupled with our own in-house developed Virtual Artisan™ vibration monitoring technology, BiSA’s customers are assured of a quality service and minimal downtime on plant and equipment. Our objective is to be regarded as a preferred partner for bearing and bearing related services in industry throughout Southern Africa.
