Akij Group was founded by Sheikh Akij Uddin in 1940 with a vision of using natural resources like the golden fiber Jute, to show case to the world the strength of Bangladesh. The legacy of Akij Group is more than half a century old and over the years Akij has established itself as a respected and strong contributor in the growing economy of Bangladesh.
