Isala Theater

Isala is de naam die de Romeinen lang geleden gaven aan de Hollandsche IJssel. Het Isala Theater opende zijn deuren in september 1999. In september 2009 bestond het Isala Theater 10 jaar! Het theater is ontworpen door architect Martien van Goor en heeft een grote en een kleine zaal. Deze beide zalen zijn voor uiteenlopende doeleinden te gebruiken. Tevens beschikt het Isala Theater over diverse multifunctionele foyers. Het Isala Theater is een sfeervol en intiem theater. De warme kleuren rood en nachtblauw dragen hier zeker aan bij. In de benedenfoyer gaat achter de 'gouden' wand de Grote Zaal schuil, die plaats biedt aan 512 bezoekers. Ook zijn er enkele rolstoelplaatsen. De Grote Zaal beschikt over een modern infrarood geluidssysteem voor bezoekers die minder goed horen. Informeert u bij het bespreekbureau naar de mogelijkheden. De Luc Lutz zaal bevindt zich rechts achter de rode wand in de benedenfoyer. De Luc Lutz zaal is een zogenaamd vlakke vloertheater, dat wil zeggen dat er geen podium in staat. Mede daardoor is deze zaal multifunctioneel. Er is een tribune die plaats biedt aan 151 mensen, maar deze kan ook worden ingeschoven. De rolstoelplaatsen in de Luc Lutz zaal bevinden zich op het zijbalkon.

SNHU Arena

The ground breaking for the SNHU Arena, an ASM Global managed facility and formerly known as Verizon Wireless Arena, took place in April 2000, and took nearly one and a half years to complete the facility. On November 15, 2001, we celebrated the grand opening of the SNHU Arena. The Manchester Monarchs, then of the AHL, played their first home game on November 16, and Aerosmith performed the following night. Seating capacity for the SNHU Arena varies, depending upon each individual event. For example, hockey games seat approximately 10,019, basketball seats 11,140 people, end stage concerts hold about 10,050, while center stage concerts seat about 11,770.
