Founded in 2013 by art lovers, Commonplaces is a non-profit organisation composed of a team of passionate and committed volunteers who share a common goal: to help you discover emerging artists from Brussels and Belgium! Our statement The art world as it currently exists does not often give "young artists"​ a chance to make it. Today, the presentation of artistic work seems secondary in comparison with financial speculation, as most galleries do not want to exhibit new artists who are little-known or unknown because of the financial risk they represent. At Commonplaces, we think differently. We are convinced that money should not govern art. Our concept 100% fan of fries and art! Commonplaces is Belgian and proud of Belgian artists. Indeed, many artists were born here, are living here, or have been trained here, especially in Brussels. We want you to discover their talents through our website, our social networks and our virtual exhibitions. You no longer need to move: wherever you are in the world, our artists come to you, right into your living room. And no, it’s not surreal... Our promise 100% fair, 100% local, 100% creative. Commonplaces is a fair trade gallery where the artworks are sold at a fair and affordable price, respectful of artists and art collectors; because what we want to share above all, is our love of contemporary art.

Né d’une longue tradition familiale artisanale de trente années d’expérience dans ​l’impression​, le labo met aujourd’hui ​son savoir-faire de tireur d’art au service des artistes en proposant des œuvres d’art inédites. ​Après les tirages sur papier d’art qui ont fait leur réputation, le montage et l’encadrement avec bois noble.
