CAPE Consultants
Coastal and Port Engineering (CAPE) Consultants is an engineering consultancy specialising in coastal and port works and catering to a range of clients including port authorities, terminal owners and operators, government agencies and private developers in New Zealand and internationally.
Success is achieved by working closely with the client, understanding and responding proactively to needs, applying the requisite expertise, adopting an innovative approach where appropriate, and maintaining flexibility to adapt to change as necessary. This provides a mutually constructive working environment, enabling CAPE to meet and exceed client expectations, adding value to the work undertaken.
CAPE was established in New Zealand in 2014 by two experienced coastal, port and marine engineers, Richard Mocke and Bill Carlton, following a long period working in Australia and other countries, e.g. South Africa, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and throughout South East Asia. The Directors bring over sixty years of relevant experience to the company.
Services cover studies for coastal and port works, including planning and feasibility, design for a range of coastal and port situations and management of design and construction activity. With the ability and experience to work with others, CAPE is able to undertake a full range of multi-disciplinary services to successfully deliver all sizes and types of marine based projects.
Over the years, strong relationships have been built with other groups and individuals enabling the co-operation of other specialists as needed to handle diverse projects in an optimum fashion.
