The 1ST Employment Portal, also known as 1STEP.CA, was created to bring in one place, all the stakeholders of the job market namely, Job Seekers, Employers and/or Recruiters, to reduce the timeline and expenditures of the recruitment process. While Canada faces continued challenges in sourcing qualified personnel in many industries, recruitment of Canadian newcomers or new immigrants of Canada is an excellent option for many Canadian employers. Notwithstanding the fact that 1STEP.CA was developed for Canadian newcomers or new immigrants of Canada who are facing the real challenges in transferring their skills in the Canadian labour force, all job seekers or consumers inside or outside Canada, however, are also highly encouraged to use 1STEP.CA as a tool to help find their dream job or perhaps the suitable job that will enable them to land in Canadian soil with their family. As with many job boards over the web, any Job Seeker can register, create a profile and search for a job at 1STEP.CA. Employers and/or Recruiters, on the other hand, can register, create an Employer profile, post jobs and search for candidates at 1STEP.CA.
